We always looking for talented graduate students! If you're interested, please get in touch to discuss rotating in the Carroll lab. A variety of projects are available, each leveraging a different mix of synethtic organic chemistry, biochemistry and cellular biology. We welcome new members and are passoniate about training the next generation of scientists.
The Carroll lab in the Department of Chemistry at Scripps, Florida is currently accepting postdoctoral applications. If you are interested in joining our group, please send a cover letter letter describing your prior research, future interests and your CV to Dr. Carroll. We strive to maintain an interdisciplinary environment in the Carroll Lab and thus welcome applications from individuals representing diverse research areas (e.g. synthetic chemistry, biochemistry/enzymology, chemical biology, cell and molecular biology, etc...).
Our Commitment to Diversity
My lab welcomes students, postdocs and visiting scholars regardless race, religion, gender identification, sexual orientation, age, or disability status. The more reflective of society’s diversity the lab is, the better we are. It is through diverse perspectives and abilities that we see all possible answers to a problem. It is through such diversity that we create an environment like that which we hope for in society more generally. If our lab does not reflect the diversity of society we have failed, and that failure is far greater than the failure to obtain a result, get a grant or write a paper.
